Heavy Equipment Operator

City Home Construction Inc is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in the construction industry.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to operate heavy machinery in various construction settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, safety protocols, and industry standards.
Responsibilities:- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and graders in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Read blueprints, maps, and specifications to determine work requirements and plan methods or sequences of operation.
- Use International Organization for Standardization (ISO) pattern joystick controls and operate computer-controlled equipment.
- Measure distance, volume, length, and weight, and complete onboard and other logs.
- Secure special attachments to equipment and operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
- Perform minor repairs to equipment and prepare accident reports.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
The Heavy Equipment Operator will work in a variety of construction settings, including industrial, commercial, and institutional projects. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
