Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Nutreco External. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our animal feed production equipment, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate and maintain our animal feed production equipment, including bulk trucks, to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
  • Follow Manufacturing Practices: Adhere to strict manufacturing practices and safety policies to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
  • Load and Unload Ingredients: Load and unload ingredients from bulk trucks, accurately and efficiently shipping products ordered by customers.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance: Perform tasks related to preventive and sanitary maintenance of the plant, ensuring quality control requirements are met at all times.
  • Operate Production Line: Operate the production line, ensuring efficient and high-quality production.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as required to support the production team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Feed Mill or Manufacturing Environment: Previous experience working in a feed mill or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Rotational Shifts and Overtime: Ability and availability to work rotational shifts and overtime as required.
  • Positive Work Attitude and Strong Work Ethic: Positive work attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Teamwork and Self-Motivation: Ability to work with a team but also self-motivated to work independently with minimal supervision.
