We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at JEAN COUTU PHARMACY Chatham N.B. #219. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with purchases.
- Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap area and surrounding shelves.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of retail experience.
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with electronic cash registers and basic computer skills.
This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending and lifting.
