Job Responsibilities
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of solar energy systems that meet the energy needs of communities, ensuring projects are efficient, sustainable, and comply with industry standards.

Main Tasks
  1. Design and plan solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  2. Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, and stakeholders to assess site feasibility, perform energy production modeling, and analyze system performance.
  3. Prepare technical reports, proposals, and budgets for new solar installations.
  4. Conduct grid interconnection studies and liaise with utility companies to ensure smooth integration into the power grid.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or the ability to obtain it.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design and construction, with a focus on solar PV systems.
  • Must understand Solar PV electrical concepts, Energy Storage Systems, codes, layouts calculations, and equipment sizing.
