About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Total Care RX. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compound and Package Medications: Assist in the preparation and packaging of pharmaceutical products, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • General Clerical Duties: Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls, to support the pharmacy team.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that medications and supplies are readily available when needed.
  • Assist Health Care Professionals: Provide support to pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, as needed, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring patient safety.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or related setting.
