Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Under the direction of the Regional Manager Allied Health, the Speech-Language Pathologist - Adult (SLP-A) plays a crucial role in the coordination and provision of Speech-Language Pathology services to clients in facilities and communities within IERHA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment, intervention, planning, and implementation of a program for clients
  • Discharge planning and follow-up of referred clients
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and external agencies/services
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Manitoba
  • Eligible to practice and maintain licensure in Manitoba
  • Certifications by the Canadian Association of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in videofluoroscopic swallowing study (VFSS)
  • Skilled ability in the assessment, identification, and treatment of clients of varying ages and with diverse diagnoses
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods without resting
  • Ability to work under stress and time constraints
