Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at the Valhalla Hotel and Conference Centre. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, leading a team of food and beverage staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our Skal Restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity.
  • Lead and motivate a team of food and beverage staff to ensure excellent service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the Skal Restaurant, including managing inventory, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, and adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality guest experiences.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the food and beverage industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage cost controls and menu planning.
