Foot Care Nurse Opportunity at Classic LifeCare

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Foot Care Nurse at Classic LifeCare in Vancouver, BC.

About the Role

As a Foot Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing top-notch footcare services to our clients in their homes. This includes performing routine footcare treatments, such as nail trimming, callus reduction, and treatment of minor foot ailments, while adhering to best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine footcare treatments, including nail trimming, callus reduction, and treatment of minor foot ailments in clients' homes with best practice standards.
  • Footcare tools must be sterilized with autoclave as per best practice standards.
Requirements
  • Current LPN/RN/RPN license in British Columbia.
  • Must hold a Certificate of Completion of a recognized foot care course.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Completion of Criminal Record Check.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation within the Greater Vancouver area.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with healthcare professionals, clients' family members, and relevant organizations to meet clients' best interests and goals.
  • Great technical skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of client care documentation using our online systems.
