Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Integration Engineer to join our team in [location]. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise in delivery and sustainment of satellite connected networking solutions for Viasat International Government (VIG) customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and adapt existing solution designs to ensure deliverability, including creating as-built instance documentation.
  • Develop and apply configurations to IP networking devices such as routers, firewalls, and managed switches to allow solutions to function as designed.
  • Install and operate satellite hub systems, Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) systems, and other associated hardware.
  • Analyse customer issues and devise solutions for clients, regardless of the issue being satellite or terrestrial segment based.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for VIG Solutions internal network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, managed switches, servers, and SaaS systems.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in network engineering and/or satellite communications technologies/industry.
  • Cisco CCNA certification.
  • Palo Alto PCNSE certification.
  • GVF Advanced Installer certification.
  • University-level education with an emphasis on one or more of: communications theory, RF and/or digital hardware design, software development, networking.
