Job Title: Commercial Credit and Risk Analyst Intern

Volkswagen Financial Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Credit and Risk Analyst Intern to join our team in Ajax, Ontario. As an intern in our VCI Commercial Risk Department, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Commercial Risk Specialists and Analysts to provide day-to-day support and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in regular payment processing and balancing within the Wholesale Management System (WMS)
  • Support the generation and distribution of reports based on current distribution policies
  • Fulfill ad hoc data requests from the Commercial Risk team and other departments
  • Perform other related duties as required by the department
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time co-op business and/or accounting, finance or marketing program in a recognized Canadian University
  • Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and presentational
  • 1-2 years of business environment work experience preferred
  • Proficient in MS Excel (Intermediate Level) and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Business Objects is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable
  • Detail and process-oriented
