We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic professional educators to join our team as Learning Assistance Teachers in Elementary/Middle/Secondary Schools within Central Okanagan Public Schools (School District No. 23) in Kelowna, BC.

Job Summary

As a Learning Assistance Teacher, you will provide support to students with diverse learning needs, working collaboratively with classroom teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic support to students in a one-on-one or small group setting
  • Develop and implement learning plans to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate learning assistance into the curriculum
  • Monitor student progress and adjust learning plans as needed
Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
