">We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Combined Medical-Surgical Nursing unit at qathet General Hospital in Powell River, BC. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care while working collaboratively with other healthcare providers. You will also be responsible for documenting care provided, responding to incidents in accordance with established policies and procedures, and participating on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">To be successful in this role, you must possess current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and demonstrated ability in nursing practice related to designated client group. You should also have experience developing and implementing care plans, adjusting to unexpected events, problem-solving, setting priorities, and dealing with conflict. Additionally, you must be able to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing), counsel and teach clients and their families, and provide leadership through initiative and independence.
