Budget Excavating and Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled Excavation Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Excavation Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and cranes to excavate and move earth and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and cranes, to excavate and move earth and other materials.
  • Understand Safety Procedures: Understand and follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Complete Onboard Logs: Complete all necessary onboard logs and records to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Perform Minor Repairs: Perform minor repairs and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to understand excavation plans and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
