Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Integration Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at CAE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for updating the software components of our flight simulator products, ensuring they are at the cutting edge of aeronautical improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the development, integration, and validation of systems and products, from simulation to user interface (software and hardware).
  • Provide supervision and technical support to developers in the integration of their systems, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Facilitate communication between our customer and design team for the resolution of software issues.
  • Travel to customer sites worldwide to achieve the integration of our software solutions.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science.
  • Knowledge of the C programming language and scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of LINUX and Windows operating systems.
  • A good understanding of software-hardware interface concepts.
  • A good understanding of configuration management tools (e.g. Github).
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
  • Good planning, organization, and adaptability skills.
  • Ready to travel frequently.
