Job Summary


Michaels is seeking a skilled Custom Framing Representative to join our team. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, creating memorable framing solutions, and maintaining a well-organized store environment.


Key Responsibilities



  • Build strong relationships with customers by offering personalized framing solutions and providing excellent customer service.
  • Operate cash register, execute cash handling to standards, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes to ensure efficient and timely restocking of store shelves.
  • Assist customers in locating products, provide solutions, and acknowledge customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Support Omni-channel processes and maintain a clean, safe, and clutter-free store environment.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements



  • Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
  • Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
  • Basic retail experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and frames, and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Work Environment


As a Custom Framing Representative, you will work in a public retail store setting, interacting with customers and colleagues in a dynamic and team-oriented environment. You will be required to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and early mornings.
