Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Climate & Environment, this position will provide leadership and direction to support corporate climate and energy management frameworks.

  • Providing leadership and direction to support corporate climate and energy management frameworks such as the City's Circular Strategy and Community Energy Emissions Plan.
  • Managing, developing, preparing and monitoring budgets. Managing, analyzing and securing grant and provision funding; and monitoring operations to ensure service levels have been met in accordance with established parameters.
  • Preparing and coordinating a variety of internal and external communications including memos, reports and policy-based documentation. Presenting to a variety of internal and external interest groups, including Mayor and Council.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy and independence, with the ability to work effectively with advisory groups, industry organizations and senior government.
