Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering and finishing
  • Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and wire mesh around beams
Work Environment:

As a Drywall Installer, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, and crouch to install drywall sheets and perform tasks.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty environments, and under tight deadlines
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
