Job Title: Child Caregiver

Xiangqin Chen is seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a family setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to keep the household tidy
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development to promote their well-being
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children to promote their development
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to ensure the children's dietary needs are met
  • Supervise and care for children to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments as needed
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children to promote their mental health
  • Help children with homework to support their academic development
  • Cook meals for the family to ensure everyone's dietary needs are met
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
