Brandt is seeking a skilled Shipper/Receiver - Yard to join our team at the Stoney Creek Construction & Forestry location. This role is responsible for assisting the parts department with the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the parts department to load trucks and sea containers with finished goods, adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • Inspect crates and bundles for damage during the loading process, identifying and reporting any issues.
  • Assist in inventory counting and management, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders, and forklifts, to load and unload materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
  • Physical fitness to manually handle goods, steel, and products, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to perform duties in adverse weather conditions, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
