About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons (ESG Torbram). As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Operations and Logistics: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Team Development: Establish work schedules, provide feedback and coaching to staff, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
