We are looking for a seasoned Senior Accounting Professional to join our Finance team at Arctic Spas. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, as well as managing the monthly close process including journal entries and account reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. You will also be responsible for supervising the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, and monitoring compliance with internal controls and company policies.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80K – $105K per annum, along with health, vision, dental; Life insurance, LTD, and AD&D benefits. Our Finance/Accounting team works Monday thru Friday, typically 8:00AM to 4:30PM, and travel to Thorsby, AB one day per week is required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of Canadian GAAP and IFRS principles
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis, particularly in the Financial Service/Lending Reporting industry

You will have the opportunity to work with Microsoft Business Central and other commonly utilized accounting and ERP software, as well as develop your skills in Power BI and Microsoft Excel.
