We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at 2837832 ONTARIO INC. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile. You will also mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, repairing, and applying a layer of adhesive.
  • Measure and mark surfaces to ensure accurate tile placement.
  • Mix and apply adhesives to secure tiles in place.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Estimate costs and materials for tile installation projects.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in tile installation.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week.
