About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Mixology Expert to join our team at Pantages Hotel Downtown Toronto. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, take orders, and serve drinks and snacks.
  • Menu Planning: Assist in the planning and presentation of the bar menu to ensure a unique and exciting experience for our guests.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain liquor inventory and consumption, and prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies.
  • Sales and Marketing: Possess the ability to sell or influence others by up-selling and suggestive selling, and provide recommendations and suggestions to guests.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the Food and Beverage Manager and other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
Requirements
  • Smart Serve Certification: Possess a valid Smart Serve certification to ensure compliance with all food and beverage regulations.
  • Food Handling Certification: Possess a valid Food Handling certification, which is an asset.
  • Availability: Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Authorization: Be authorized to work in Canada.
