About the Role

This is a locum Radiation Oncologist position, with a minimum of 1 year commitment (mid 2024-mid 2025). You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with a team of experienced radiation oncologists and clinical associates. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a provincial Radiation Therapy program, committed to clinical excellence through evidence-based standardized care and knowledge generation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
  • Participate in research, administrative, and educational activities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development of our comprehensive cancer control program
Requirements
  • Eligibility for licensure in British Columbia
  • Fellowship in Radiation Oncology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent qualification
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada
  • Knowledge of social, economic, political, and historical realities impacting Indigenous communities
