Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

MILER XPRESS INC is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation
  • Load and unload goods, maintaining a high level of safety and security
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes
  • Operate and maintain trucks, performing regular inspections and maintenance
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Basic security clearance
  • Criminal record check
  • Drug test
  • Medical exam
Preferred Qualifications:
  • International transportation experience
  • Long-haul transportation experience
  • Provincial/territorial transportation experience
