Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Foreman/Woman to join our team at Sticks Concrete Construction. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities, including preparing production reports and recommending measures to improve productivity.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise workers and projects, co-ordinate and schedule activities, and oversee apprenticeship training.
  • Train or arrange for training, estimate costs and materials, and set up equipment.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, recommend personnel actions, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Read blueprints and drawings, requisition materials and supplies, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in construction and project management.
  • Valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, and safety vest.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, accuracy, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player.
