Job SummaryThe Information Technology Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to our computer systems and networks. This includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, installing and configuring new hardware and software, and ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to staff and clients, resolving technical issues and ensuring that our systems are running smoothly.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including backups, updates, and security checks, to ensure the integrity and security of our systems.
- Hardware and Software Installation: Install and configure new hardware and software, ensuring that it meets our technical requirements.
- Network Administration: Manage and maintain our computer networks, ensuring that they are secure and running efficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, using a variety of tools and techniques to identify and fix problems.
- Communication: Communicate technical information to staff and clients, using clear and concise language to explain complex technical concepts.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a technical support role, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: Microsoft certified IT professional (MCITP) and A+ Certification.
- Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
The Information Technology Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of technical complexity. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
