Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Heavy Goods Transport Specialist to join our team of professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Key Responsibilities- Loading and Unloading Goods: Load and unload goods from trucks to ensure timely delivery to clients.
- Maintaining Vehicle Condition: Regularly inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure the vehicle's optimal performance.
- Transporting Goods: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Working Hours: Work a standard 50-hour week, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in heavy goods transportation.
- Language: English or French language proficiency is essential for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. Additionally, benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth are available.
