About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, cutting and fitting them to create seamless joints, and applying successive coats of compound to smooth out excess material. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet client requirements
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
