Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operations at Travelodge Bracebridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of cleaning staff, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and supervise cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to identify areas that require attention and implement corrective actions to maintain our high standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services and supplies.
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services required to maintain our facilities, such as painting, repairs, and renovations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaning staff in performing their duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to train and supervise cleaning staff.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory role.

Work Environment:

  • Permanent position.
  • 32 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English.
