The Senior Construction Estimator will be responsible for overseeing the estimating process from preconstruction through project execution. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for various project types, including commercial, industrial, and residential developments.
  • Oversight of preconstruction processes, including scope evaluation and risk assessment.
  • Management of tender processes, bid analysis, and contract finalization.
  • Providing cost analysis and value engineering to optimize budgets.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are accurately reflected in estimates.
  • Coordination with the construction team for seamless transition to project execution.
  • Risk assessments and tracking of project costs and timelines.
  • Staying current with market trends, material pricing, and industry standards.
  • Mentoring junior estimators.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 10+ years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and regulations.
  • Experience in preconstruction, tenders, and construction management.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Leadership experience is a plus.
