About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas to meet the demands of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including pizzas, to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring that all dietary requirements are met.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Team Management: Recruit and hire staff, and manage kitchen operations to ensure that they are running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Cuisine Specialties: Italian cuisine
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, overtime required, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, work under pressure
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
