About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronic Service Technician to join our team at Vision Investment Group. As an Electronic Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and repairing electronic equipment, installing new equipment, and ensuring that all technical systems are functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Repair Electronic Equipment: Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair, and repair electronic equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
  • Install Electronic Equipment: Install new electronic equipment, including configuring and testing it to ensure it meets the required specifications.
  • Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic equipment and assemblies to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Complete Work Orders and Reports: Complete work orders and test and maintenance reports to ensure that all technical work is properly documented.
  • Supervise and Train: Supervise and train other electronic equipment service technicians to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • Education: A college or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as electronics or computer science.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, such as electronics or computer science.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work under pressure. The technician will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel to access equipment.
