About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at RDR Development & Renovations. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Safely load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Assisting in Construction Tasks: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, building roofs, and other construction tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  • Maintaining a Safe Work Environment: Ensure a safe working environment by cleaning up spills, disposing of waste, and reporting any hazards or incidents to supervisors.
  • Operating Equipment: Operate machines and equipment used in construction, such as forklifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery.
  • Supporting Apprentices: Instruct and assist apprentices in their training and development.
  • Assisting in Material Handling: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Conditions: The role involves working in various weather conditions and may require working at heights.
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant experience in construction is essential.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in the workplace.
  • Work Schedule: The role requires a 40-hour workweek, with occasional overtime as required.
