Exercise Therapist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Exercise Therapist to join our team at Watson Clinic. As an Exercise Therapist, you will assist physical, occupational, and/or speech pathologists in patient care activities under their direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review patient status by referring to charts and direct communication with treating therapists on a daily basis.
- Maintain the physical environment of the Center and ensure a state of readiness to provide patient care.
- Effectively monitor patient activity and communicate with therapists and patients regarding concerns and progress.
- Maintain all department supplies at proper stock levels and in appropriate locations.
- Complete clerical activities as requested, accurately and in a timely fashion.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED.
- Completion of a health-related degree such as exercise science or some level of advanced training certification.
- Strong interest in the field of rehabilitation, including physical, occupational, and/or speech therapy.
- Good grasp of medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of previous experience as a PT, OT, or Rehab Aide.
