About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Technologist to join our team at BC Hydro. As an Electrical Engineering Technologist, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of electrical distribution systems
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and maintain electrical equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports

Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in electrical distribution systems
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Permanent full-time position
