About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Anesthesia Assistant to join our team at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. This is a permanent, full-time position that requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will assist Anesthesiologists with the induction, maintenance, and recovery phases of anesthesia, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies
  • Assisting with surgical procedures
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs during anesthesia

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
