Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Specialist to join our team at Vitalité Health Network. As a key member of our trauma care staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting optimal trauma care in your facility and neighboring trauma centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement educational activities, quality improvement initiatives, and trauma-related prevention and research projects as assigned by Trauma NB.
  • Collect and analyze trauma-related data in your respective facilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Registration with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognized university (asset).
  • At least five years' current clinical experience in emergency or intensive care, including care of trauma patients.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification or obtain within a set timeframe.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtain within a set timeframe.
  • Emergency Nursing Certified Canada (ENC) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications (assets).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
