We are seeking a skilled industrial body painter to join our team at Everest Equipment Co.

About the Role

As an industrial body painter, you will be responsible for painting heavy equipment, including bodies, shovels, scrapers, and other parts, using a compressed air gun.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare recipes according to work orders;
  • Paint heavy equipment and parts using a compressed air gun;
  • Move equipment safely using an overhead crane or forklift;
  • Ensure paint inventory and necessary equipment;
  • Ensure quality of paint application;
  • Maintain paint chamber and clean equipment, ensuring a safe work environment;
  • Perform other related duties.

Requirements

  • Good physical condition;
  • Respectful of safety regulations;
  • Good knowledge of handling hazardous materials;
  • Organized and responsible;
  • Ability to communicate orally in English and French;
  • Experience as an industrial body painter is an asset;
  • Certification as overhead crane operator and forklift operator is an asset.

Benefits

  • Permanent position Monday to Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., 40 hours/week;
  • Hourly wage $21.39 to $27.67 + evening premium of $1.75;
