Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Respite Care Specialist to join our team at Resource Ability. As a Nurse Respite Care Provider, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children with medical needs in their home communities throughout British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 respite care in the home environment, supporting children with complex care needs.
- Work independently to deliver care that meets the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Current practicing registration with BCCNM.
- Valid CPR 'C' / BLS certification or better.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
