About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Edmonton. As a key member of our mechanical team, you will be responsible for leading the design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various projects, including commercial and institutional buildings, industrial complexes, and mission-critical data centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design projects from conceptual design to completion.
  • Delegate tasks and provide technical support and mentoring to junior staff.
  • Research and implement new technologies and industry-specific software to meet clients' objectives.
  • Participate in client management, business development, and proposal preparation activities.
  • Manage project financial reviews, including budgeting and meeting deliverable milestones.
Requirements
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA or other Canadian Province or Territory.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Proven working knowledge with Revit.
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards, including the National Building Code, ASHRAE, and NFPA.
