Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning the department to ensure a visually appealing and easy-to-shop environment
  • Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain a fresh and high-quality product offering
  • Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies
  • Adhering to cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to maintain a safe and healthy shopping environment
  • Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and maintaining features to ensure a seamless shopping experience
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including keeping the area neat, clean, and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time.
