We are seeking a skilled Landscaper to join our team at Planta Landscape Inc. as a key member of our outdoor maintenance crew.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our clients' outdoor spaces, including lawns, gardens, and landscapes. This is a seasonal position that requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products
  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
  • Plant and move trees
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
  • Lay sod or seed
  • Dig ditches and trenches
  • Cut grass
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
  • Rake and collect refuse
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in landscaping or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
  • Manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a variety of outdoor environments, including residential and commercial properties
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Exposure to dust, noise, and other environmental hazards
