Job Title: Patient Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a Patient Support Specialist to join our team at Health and rehab research Inc. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities
  • Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment
  • Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse
  • Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
  • Maintain inventory of supplies
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations

Requirements:

  • Basic security clearance
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Work under pressure
  • Physically demanding
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Sound discrimination
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Walking

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
