Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 102667 PEI INC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are sanitized and stored properly.
Key Responsibilities- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Sharpen kitchen knives
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
- Reliability and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Will to learn and train
This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
