About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tire Technician to join our team at Kal Tire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute front-end brake services, shocks, and wheel alignments with precision and attention to detail.
  • Safely perform tire removal, installation, and repair for passenger and light truck vehicles, including removing wheel assemblies, dismounting and mounting tires, balancing, inflating, and reinstalling tires.
  • Diagnose tire issues, evaluate reparability, and apply appropriate repair methods.
  • Assist and perform mechanical inspections and services, including work order procedures, alignment, flush machines, and oil lube and filter service.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, consistently surpassing each client's expectations.
Requirements
  • Completion of an Automotive Technician Program or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and a desire to learn.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to excel in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout the day.
  • Being safety conscious is of utmost importance - always wear required PPE and follow instructed work protocols.
  • Motivated, Positive attitude, respectful work environment, develop team members in a positive atmosphere.
