2D Animation Specialist for Adult Comedy Series

Titmouse is seeking a skilled 2D animator to join their team for an adult comedy series. The ideal candidate will have strong drawing skills and a great sense of timing for action sequences and acting alike. The project is expected to run from July 2024 to March 2025, with a compensation package commensurate with experience and skill level. The animator will be responsible for creating high-quality 2D animation sequences, animating scenes from rough to clean and complete work, and performing revisions according to client/director notes. The animator will also be required to draw in Adobe Animate to create designs/poses for animation sequences and layouts. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an animator on a 2D series, a strong sense of animation basics, and the ability to stay on model. They will also be self-motivated, have good organizational skills, and be able to prioritize to meet goals or deadlines. The animator will be working in a fast-paced production environment and will need to be able to multi-task and manage their time wisely. They will also need to be detail-oriented, flexible, and adaptable. The ideal candidate will have a sense of style or artistry and a creative mindset. They will also need to be able to communicate in a professional and positive manner and maintain confidentiality over all matters and proprietary information. The animator will be required to have a working knowledge of Adobe Animate and be able to quickly learn essential new software applications. They will also need to have in-depth knowledge of Adobe Animation suite, including After Effects, and be able to assemble the final shot. The animator will be working in a hybrid format, but must be eligible to come into the Titmouse office in Vancouver.
