Associate Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Physician to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the vision, values, and purpose of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in patient rounds and assessments, working collaboratively with the Most Responsible Provider (MRP) and other care team members.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, responding to changing patient conditions and consulting with attending staff as needed.
- Perform and document admission history and physical examinations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and medication reconciliation, adhering to CPSBC and organizational standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other care team members, ensuring seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Medical degree from a school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.
- Minimum of two years of accredited postgraduate training as a medical or surgical specialist, verified by the CPSBC.
- Successful completion of Part 1 of the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) or Steps 1 through 3 of the United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLEs).
- Eligibility for registration with the CPSBC in the Associate Physician class, under sponsorship by Fraser Health Authority.
