Senior Biostatistician Job Description

Everest Clinical Research is seeking a highly skilled Senior Biostatistician to join our team in Markham, Ontario, or remotely from a home-based office in Canada. As a Senior Biostatistician, you will play a key role in leading statistical efforts, providing expertise in design, analysis, and reporting of clinical trials and research projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead statistical planning and methodologies for clinical trials and research projects.
  • Develop and review statistical analysis plans (SAPs) and address peer statistician review comments.
  • Contribute to the writing of statistical sections of study protocols and perform sample size calculations.
  • Develop and maintain statistical and programming quality control (QC) and QA plans for assigned projects.
  • Provide input to unblinded data management plans and assist in research and development of statistical methodologies and processes.
  • Develop and review ADaM dataset specifications and perform QC validation of analysis datasets and TLGs.
  • Lead statistical dry runs and final runs, and review and provide input to the Analysis Data Reviewer's Guide.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. degree in statistical science, mathematical analysis, or related fields, plus 2 years of highly relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 4 years of highly relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated ability and sustained performance in statistical planning, methodologies, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
