Financial Analysis and Treasury Specialist

About the Role
Crombie is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Financial Analysis & Treasury team. Based in either our Halifax or New Glasgow office, this role will provide analytical support to our Financial Analysis and Treasury department.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including management, to understand business objectives and align with financial and operational strategy.
- Monitor cash position and correspond with financial institutions to ensure funding is in place, as needed.
- Act as the primary contact for lenders on annual mortgage reviews and in mortgage due diligence.
- Play a critical role in cash flow forecasting and preparing presentations for the board, Senior Management, and other key stakeholders.
- Support capital tracking, treasury, and debt and equity financing.
- Provide strategic financial and analytical support to maximize value creation for Crombie REIT.
- Organize and prepare all reporting as required.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting, including pro formas, capital market analysis, peer analysis, and more.
- Conduct strategic insight research and analysis.
- Research and support monitoring and analysis of Crombie KPIs, ensuring accurate databases and reports.
- Support the information gathering and drafting of finance and disclosure materials, including quarterly reports and annual information forms.
- Help prepare department documents and presentations.
- Support other departmental functions as necessary.
- Engage across the organization to promote a safe and respectful work environment.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with an undergraduate degree in finance, business, or a related field, and a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have, or be working towards, a CFA, CBV, or CPA designation. They will be a self-starter with experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments, and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also have advanced working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and online research tools, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
